PepsiCo Foods, Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam in collaboration with the Vietnam Youth Federation implemented the “Millions of Meals” program in response to the Prime Minister’s call “No one will be left behind”. The program spread the message “Give Meals, Give Hope” amongst the community and supported the underprivileged people who are most vulnerable during the pandemic.
Thanks to the overwhelming community
contribution, the program marked milestones as of May 6, 2020:
• Over 472,000 meals delivered
to 31,800 people (see more at https://bit.ly/2KjBSWG)
• Up to 500 donors made
contribution to the “Millions of Meals” fund.
• Over 100 press organizing
participated in spreading the news
• Over 50 artists and hundreds
of youngsters changed their social profile pictures to support the program
The music video “Millions of Meals” also contributed greatly
in spreading the positive message of this campaign. The music video was
completed in just 3 day time after the campaign launch with 100% voluntary
participation from artists. Let’s have a look in Dan Truong and his student
Trung Quang’s performance in this video, alongside with 50 other artists from
different fields holding up their plates in support of the campaign message “millions
of meals so that no one is left behind.”
The program aims at spreading
love and support within the community so that a million ore meals will be
handed over to those in need, which is a practical and compassionate act during
this difficult time.
