SPVB CONTINUES TO ACCOMPANY PRO VIETNAM TO CREATE A GREAN, CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL VIETNAM

PRO Vietnam’s aspiration and vision are that all the products packaging produced and distributed in Vietnam by our members will be completely recycled and restored in Vietnam by 2030.

Together with PRO Vietnam, SPVB has contributed to many activities of PRO Vietnam such as joining hands with the frontline against the epidemic as well as strengthening solidarity among members of the alliance, especially the “Saigon for Saigon” Program in 2021 with the contribution nearly one hundred billion VND.

In 2022, SPVB will make efforts to accelerate PRO VN's activities including:

• Hold the 2022 Annual Member Meeting on March 24.

• Cooperate and support MONRE to develop an effective implementation plan for the EPR decree.

• Improve operational capacity.

• Implement at least 3 collection and recycling projects.

• Collect and recycle at least 3000 tons per material (PET, UBC, Laminates).

• Support pilot projects through behavior change campaigns calling for segregation and recycling in the region.

• Focus on promoting strategic partnerships to conduct collection according to recycling goals.

• Expand the admission of new members for the organization.
