Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week: 10 years a fashion journey



Right from the first season, Vietnam International Fashion Week was able to mark Vietnam name on world fashion map with the country’s first time ever world class fashion week.  

After laying a solid foundation in the industry, the following seasons of Vietnam International Fashion Week organized twice a year with the Spring – Summer edition in Ho Chi City and the Autumn – Winter edition in Hanoi continued to attract the participation of well-known designers all over the world. 

Vietnam International Fashion Week not only honored Vietnam’s leading designers naming Cong Tri, Chung Thanh Phong, Thuy Nguyen etc. but also launched young designers such as champions of Project Runway Vietnam program including Hoang Minh Ha, Ly Giam Tien and Nguyen Tien Truyen.

Ms. Le Thi Quynh Trang - CEO and Founder of Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week spoke at the conference.


Vietnam International Fashion Week ranked the best international fashion week in Southeast Asia and 4th in Asia, after Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai international fashion weeks. Beside the international and domestic familiars, Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week this year also introduced new faces

 


This year the Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week commemorated its 10th year anniversary. The Closing Award Ceremony will honor all designers who have contributed to the success of Aquafina International Fashion Week through 10 seasons and the Vietnam fashion industry in general.

“The 9 seasons of Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week have proven that wherever there is fashion week, there is civilization and integration. The Vietnam International Fashion Week has opened up the door for Vietnam fashion to sync with the world’s fashion industry and step by step realized the dream of building Vietnam as developed fashion industry,” shared Ms. Le Thi Quynh Trang,  President and Founder of Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week. 

For this year show, some designers and brands had made their debuts with unique, sophisticated and colorful designs.


At the press conference, the Organizing Committee officially announced the list of designers participating in this year show. This year some designers and brands had made their debuts with unique, sophisticated and colorful designs with the performance of top models. Those are designer Thuy Nguyen - Thuy Design House, Adrian Anh Tuan, Devon Nguyen, Hoang Hai, Ivan Tran, Frederick Lee (Singapore), Kitwoo (Malaysia), etc.

The Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week 2019 – Autumn – Winter edition "A Fashion Journey" will take place from October 28 to 31 at the Vietnam National Convention Center, Hanoi./.
